Visits are a breeze ..most visits once you sign in, your sitting in front of your inmate in 20 to 30 mins or less.. .. i really like Allenwood FCI Medium White Deer PA .
The staff are professional and friendly..
(Only thing i don't like is the sitting arrangements . the inmate is sitting so far from you that its hard to hear because your hearing everyone else's conversation all at once.)
Sitting area is terrible but I like the fact the kids can run up to dad see dad n hug n interact
Me and my sister went to see an inmate and I was waiting by the car as she went on the visit. When 2 female "staff members" told me to leave. I asked where was I to wait while my sister is inside. She ignored my question and insisted that I leave for what reason I don't know. Also, there were many people in their cars awaiting people to finish their visit. Horrible 1st experience. Won't recommend anyone to go there.
